Karl Stefanovic reluctantly agrees to take his wife Jasmine to see Magic Mike – but Brooke Boney says she should ‘be allowed to go alone’
Karl Stefanovic has agreed to see a film based on a steamy all-male striptease with his wife Jasmine – but he doesn’t seem to be thrilled about it.
The Today show host, 48, revealed on Wednesday that he will attend the premiere tomorrow of Magic Mike’s Last Dance, the third installment in the Magic Mike franchise starring Channing Tatum.
“I just did something on behalf of all the men in Australia. I’ve decided to take my wife on a date tomorrow night for the premiere of Magic Mike,” he said.

Entertainment Today reporter Brooke Boney said Magic Mike was the kind of movie Jasmine should see alone or with friends, not her husband.
“Let her go on her own,” she insisted.
Karl hinted that his wife was very keen to go both ways, saying her attitude was: if you can’t beat them, join them.

‘You know what? You can’t fight it. I have to join him. Everyone get out,” he said.
“You are a brave man, Karl,” joked his co-host Sarah Abo.
It comes after Karl shut down his new co-host Sarah on Monday after she made a cheeky sex joke about his fondness for ‘Dick’.

He had just finished an interview with V8 Supercars owner Dick Johnson when sportswriter Alex Cullen asked him if he was a motorsports fan.
This prompted Sarah, 36, to ask suggestively: “How much do you like Mr Johnson?”
Karl tried to keep it professional saying that Johnson “was a Queensland legend”.
Sarah then joked, “There’s only one Dick in your eyes.”
By this point, Karl had had enough of the “Dick” jokes and told his colleague that they weren’t appropriate for breakfast television.

Karl and his wife Jasmine recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary.
The Today Show star shared a rarely seen photo from the couple’s wedding before sharing a heartfelt tribute on Thursday.
“I can’t stop looking at this picture four years after our big day,” he captioned the sweet image.
‘How you kind of twisted my loose frame into a high jump champion. This smile is a miracle. happy birthday my [love].’
They tied the knot in December 2018 at the five-star One&Only Palmilla resort, surrounded by 200 of their closest friends and family.
