As part of his presidential bid, Kanye West is asking the FCC to investigate his bank after Adidas allegedly “froze his money” and disabled his Apple Pay.

According to West, after Adidas went out of business with him, they managed to freeze his money by having JP Morgan Chase do it. After finding that his Apple Pay was not working on several occasions, he said he investigated why.

Apparently, Adidas blocked $75 million in four of its bank accounts. This, in turn, likely caused Apple Pay to stop working due to a lack of funds.

Oddly enough, West claimed that was the reason he would run for president — again.

“The reason I’m announcing I’m running for president is because I want the FCC to look at my money. If the FCC was looking at my money, there’s a possibility Adidas didn’t get into JP Morgan Sue and freeze my account and block $75 million in four different accounts,” West said. RadarOnline.

Even if his claims are true that Adidas is getting money back from the bank, it’s unclear who West is referring to in his presidential bid. While West claims he wants the FCC – the Federal Communications Commission – to look into the matter, they can’t help.

The matter would probably not fall under the Federal Trade Commission either. Most likely, if the bank acts improperly – and it is not clear that it is – it would fall under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) which regulates domestic banks.
