The Kansas City Police Department is no match for the Swifties.

Before the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade on Wednesday, Kansas City’s city manager “implied” that he had already told Taylor Swift’s representatives that the city was not equipped to handle the additional traffic that the presence the mega popstar could bring if she chose to be. alongside her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

“I can’t confirm or deny, but we may have already told his team, just to keep everyone safe and make things a little easier for us,” Platt said, according to KCUR.

With Swift’s Eras tour resuming Friday in Australia, it’s possible Swift will continue the celebration with Kelce and join him for the Chiefs’ third parade in five seasons.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Last year’s event attracted nearly a million attendees, according to KCUR, but that number will likely grow since some will come with the hope that Swift will attend.

Platt even suggested to KCUR that some fans might start lining up on Tuesday.

However, while this would certainly please many Swifties, the logistics of such an appearance in such a short period of time would pose additional challenges.

“It’s going to be a whole second level of safety issues that we’re going to have to deal with — crowds and all that kind of stuff,” Platt told KCUR. “So we are more than ready. We have no concerns about our safety protocols and what we are doing to ensure that the route will be free of any problems.

KCUR reported that Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas said the city will have at least 600 police officers working the parade route, along with other law enforcement and medical agencies emergency.

Last year’s Super Bowl parade cost Kansas City $200,400 in police overtime, according to KCUR.

This event brought together 805 members of the police.

Even though Swift isn’t in attendance, the “Shake It Off” singer and Kelce have already enjoyed quite the party since the Chiefs’ 25-22 win over the 49ers.

The couple partied in Las Vegas until the early hours, even serenading each other to the lyrics of her hit “Love Story,” while her brother Jason Kelce and DJ Marshmello apparently became friends.
