According to reports, JB paid 500 ETH for the monkey, and at current rates, that’s worth seven figures. Interestingly, the monkey itself is a monkey that appears to be crying and hasn’t shaved for a few days. In other words, he looks a little depressed.

Incredibly, the purchase is only the seventh amount of cryptocurrency paid for a Bored Ape.
