LeBron James gives some advice to his nephew Ziaire Williams after being drafted from the lottery by the Memphis Grizzlies
At 36, LeBron James has been through it all, when it comes to the NBA. He saw the media love him, he saw him hate him. He saw the ups and downs of life in the league, as well as its costs and consequences. Simply put, at this point he’s in control of this whole process.
The Lakers star has always been one of those people who love to welcome the next generation. He has praised young athletes on several occasions, Lonzo Ball and LaMelo Ball being just two examples. And now it looks like we have yet another player to add to this roster.

‘Enjoy the process’: LeBron James gives some advice to Grizzlies rookie Ziaire Williams
Being an NBA player without fan expectations being too high is hard enough. But, with a lottery choice, there are tons of expectations that a freshman has to live up to. They don’t do that, and the NBA community is starting to show them their cruelest side.
We would fully understand that if Ziaire Williams and many others in his draft class were terrified of such massive expectations right now. But, this is perhaps where LeBron James’ post is most helpful. This is what the king said.
“Enjoy the process and all that goes with it. “
Short, sweet and perfect.

LeBron has been following Williams for a long time. His son Bronny and Dwyane’s son Wade, Zaire, and Ziaire were all teammates at Sierra Canyon. The Grizzlies rookie is now a few years older than them.
This helped Ziaire forge a close relationship with the Lakers star and Heat legend. And we’re sure as his NBA career progresses, he’ll receive tons of valuable advice from both of you.
