Declan Rice has praised Jude Bellingham, comparing his movement off the ball to that of Frank Lampard as he adds goals to his game.
The Borussia Dortmund star has come of age this year after establishing himself as a key player for club and country.

Bellingham really came into its own in 2022
Rice thinks Bellingham is following in Lampard’s footsteps
As well as having already bagged nine goals and three assists this season for Dortmund, the 19-year-old netted his first-ever goal for England in their World Cup opener against Iran with a well-taken header in their 6-2 win.
Given his young age, Bellingham is only going to get better and according to his England team-mate Rice, it’s great to see the midfielder add such a key element to his game.
Speaking to the press, Rice said: “There’s been a lot of goals he’s scored this year where he made that late run into the box and scored.
“He didn’t really do much last season, but this season he really added that to his game.
“If we can keep him at that level where he lands in the box, Lampard was the best, coming in late, and he’s really starting to show that now.
“I hope he can continue to produce for us.”
