Joseph Gordon Levitt marks his return to long format with the light comedy ‘Mr. Corman ‘will be broadcast on a major OTT platform on that date.
Joseph Gordon Levitt returned to theaters in 2020 after a long hiatus with Project Power with Jamie Foxx. He played opposition counsel Richard Schultz who only lost his own conscience against the Chicago 7s and the hostility with which the political trial was being conducted. Joseph was praised for his nuanced act in Trial of Chicago 7. Now Joseph could be seen by his fans for 10 consecutive episodes in the upcoming heartfelt comedy drama series called Mr. Corman. The series will begin airing on August 6 on a major OTT platform around the world.
Joseph’s character Josh Corman is something that could have happened to Joseph if he hadn’t made his life a passionate affair with films where he can live his dream and make bread out of it. In a recent conversation with Entertainment Weekly, Joseph said: “This character, it’s like I have a different chance and made different choices. “He mentioned that the character teaches fifth grade instead of pursuing his craft although he believes in the ideology of teaching. Joseph created the series and it seems like a passion project straight out of his heart.

Speaking in more detail about the character, he said, “He loves teaching, but he also struggles with the insecurities that come with being an artist, asking himself, ‘Am I good, is my art? meaningful, am I laughing at myself I’m stupid, am I not making sense? “He said this show is the most distilled rendition of his art that he has ever managed to do before. Joseph has already directed heavy subjects like Don Jon and also took charge of the direction of most of the 10 episodes.
