JoJo Siwa opened up about her friendship with Elton John during the singer’s final US tour in Los Angeles on Sunday.

“To see how the world accepted Elton John for who he was, Freddie Mercury for who he was,” Siwa continued, “All these people who came before me in the gay community made me think, ‘ Oh, that’s gonna be okay. These people are what they are, people know them and people love them.
Siwa hit the red carpet wearing a recreation of Rocket Man’s famous orange feathered costume with devil horns, and she wasn’t the only star to make an appearance during Elton John Live: Dodgers Stadium Farewell, broadcast live on Disney+. Dua Lipa joined John for his top 10 Billboard Hot 100 2021 “Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)”, while Kiki Dee was on hand for “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” and Brandi Carlile dueted with her boyfriend on “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.
