John Legend avoids having his Porsche stolen in Los Angeles as cops arrest man for attempted car theft

John Legend almost had his Porsche stolen, according to a report from TMZ.

The outlet said Los Angeles cops arrested a man who entered the luxury sports car while the singer, 43, was inside a recording studio.

The police said so was parked outside the location on Monday afternoon, where the thief was able to break in and sit “for a while” as he looked for a way to start the vehicle.

The entire ordeal was caught on surveillance cameras, prompting security to call law enforcement.

The LAPD allegedly confronted the guy and asked him what he was doing before claiming to authorities that he owned the Porsche.

The suspected thief got out of the car and started walking, then running and getting into a short chase before he was finally arrested.

He was convicted of the crime of attempted car theft and is being held on $85,000 bond.

Despite the stressful situation, John was able to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday alongside his family just days later.

On Thursday, the Las Vegas entertainer posed with his wife Chrissy Teigen, 36, in photos shared on social media.

The duo – who will be married for ten years in 2023 – celebrated the occasion with their two children, six-year-old daughter Luna and four-year-old son Miles.

Vilailuck Teigen, the supermodel’s mother and foodie, was also present.

The three-time cookbook author, who is expecting another child with her songwriter husband, was dressed in a long white gown resembling a toga.

The Sport Illustrated cover star – who lost her third child in 2020 – was all smiles as she reunited with loved ones in snippets posted to Instagram.

Teigen, who married Legendi in 2013, beamed with her eye shadow-dusted eyes and defined cheekbones with contour.

Chrissy’s recent pregnancy announcement comes two years after she shared the devastating news that the couple lost their baby boy, who they named Jack.
