John Fury hit on Jake Paul again, calling the YouTuber a “spoiled kid.”
Ahead of the American’s much-anticipated fight with son Tommy, Fury Sr launched an X-rated tirade against Paul in a particularly heated press conference last month.
The fight has since been called off as Fury withdrew due to a bacterial chest infection and rib injury – but the bad blood between Paul and the Fury clan persists.
“He’s just a spoiled kid, isn’t he?” Fury told talkSPORT. “You can overdo it and be a plague, can’t you?” He said nasty stuff.
“I’m telling you what I found out about him, he can’t take it back. Once he understands it, he is like a child. Well, he’s a kid, he’s 24, so you expect him from the kids.
“I’m an old man, I can’t get involved with young people like that. It’s this new world we’re living in, a young man’s world, so what we’re doing about it, I don’t know.
Paul told talkSPORT he would even be ready to fight Fury Sr and WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury.
This outcome seems highly unlikely and despite the friction between the two sides, Fury Sr is reportedly open to revamping the fight between Paul and his son for early spring 2022 – but insisted it isn’t. a fight the family needs.
On how his son is doing, Fury said, “Tommy copes with it, but the bacterial lung infections persist for weeks and the broken ribs, someone in the gym caused this. I don’t know how it happened, but there are stupid people in this world and there is nothing we can do about it.
“If Jake Paul wants to reschedule for the start of spring, no problem. We are ready to do it and if it does not, it can also be kept. We are not interested in him.
“We don’t care about any fighter on the planet. It’s a business for us and I know the “occasional” lose their minds, but it’s all strictly business.
“Can Tommy beat Jake Paul?” Of course he can. It is regrettable. I know people are going to say we’ve had this and that to say, but you can’t stop fate and accidents from happening, can you? You can’t even breathe fresh air without poisoning yourself. The air poisons everyone on the planet every day. So you expect all of this in these times.
“We’re not going to be negative about it. He’s got his ribs broken, he’s got a bacterial lung infection, we’re okay, let’s move on.
“If he wants to fight in March, that’s no problem. If he doesn’t, we’ll find someone else.
