Audio, manufacturer of high-performance marine audio systems, has announced the release of all-new digital media source units MediaMaster® 105 and MediaMaster® 105-HR. The MM105 and MM105-HR are now equipped with digital radio tuners, both for HD Radio® than for DAB+, which makes them as efficient in North America as in Europe. The new source units also benefit from Bluetooth technology® 5.0 with Qualcomm’s aptX™ technology, which reproduces music streamed from smartphones in the highest possible quality.

The MM105 is a high-end, full-featured source unit, featuring a sleek, weatherproof chassis (IP67 rated) and an ultra-bright color display offering exceptional visibility, even in direct sunlight, with a daytime display mode /night selectable. For maximum versatility, the MM105 is also NMEA 2000 certified.® and compatible with integrated multifunction displays (MFD) from Garmin, Lowrance, Raymarine we Simrad.
MediaMaster source units® 105 and 105-HR emphasize audio performance, forgoing integrated amplifiers in favor of an audiophile-grade pre-amplified output architecture ideal for use with JL Audio marine amplifiers. Four configurable and nameable audio zones, each offering independent tone and level control options, make the MM105 and MM105-HR ideal for larger vessels containing multiple entertainment areas, such as the aft deck, sun deck and the saloon or the cabin. Three level control modes (relative, absolute, fixed, or off) and customizable configurations make it easy to adjust volume levels for each audio zone on the go. JL Audio’s no-cut audio circuit design allows for self-limiting tone control to keep sound clear and distortion-free at high listening levels.
MediaMaster Concealed Radio® 105-HR
The MediaMaster® MM105-HR is a headless unit that works behind the scenes as a hidden receiver and includes the same features as the MM105, minus the LCD display and rotary and keypad controls. The MM105-HR is designed to be controlled over the boat’s NMEA 2000 network directly from compatible multifunction displays, or with the NMEA-2000 network remote® Optional JL Audio MMR-40, which features a color LCD display.
