JK Rowling appeared deeply focused as she watched day one of the Laver Cup at London’s O2 Arena on Friday.
The author, 57, sat in the crowd at the event, which will see Roger Federer play his farewell doubles match on Friday night.
Before sitting down, she was seen dressed in a black coat and purple jumper as she posed next to the huge silver cup with husband Neil Murray, 51.

The Harry Potter writer completed his look by wearing black pants and matching boots.
Neil looked dapper in a black jacket and blue shirt which he wore open at the collar.

The couple were joined at the event by model and racing driver Jodie Kidd who sat behind them in the crowd.
The TV personality, 43, looked chic in a white dress with a red and blue Aztec pattern.
Her garment featured a plunging neckline and she completed her look by accessorizing with delicate pendulum earrings.

She wore swipes of makeup to highlight her pretty features and sat close to her fiancé Joseph Bates.
Elsewhere, rugby player Chris Robshaw, 36, sat nearby and chatted with a pal.
The England sportsman, who plays for the San Diego Legion in California, cut a relaxed figure in a brown jacket and blue T-shirt.

Roger Federer was given a standing ovation by the crowd at the 02 Arena ahead of his farewell doubles match at the Laver Cup on Friday night.
The Swiss tennis legend revealed earlier this month that the London tournament would be the last competition of his career, after battling a series of injuries in recent years.
And as he made his way to the pitch on Friday, where he will partner Spaniard Rafael Nadal, he was greeted by a chorus and applause from fans in the audience.

For the final match of his 24-year career, Federer played alongside his longtime competitor for Team Europe against American duo Jack Sock and Francis Tiafoe.
The 41-year-old looked relaxed behind the scenes, as he spoke with team captain Bjorn Borg and teammates Stefanos Tsitsipas and Matteo Berrettini, before heading to the pitch.
Federer had previously spoken of his desire to play alongside Nadal, before European team captain Borg helped grant his wish.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion – who sits third in the men’s all-time tally – retires as one of the greatest to ever step onto the court, winning an impressive total of 103 singles titles on the ATP circuit.
The Laver Cup, which Federer helped establish in 2017, sees Team Europe take on Team World in the tennis version of golf’s Ryder Cup, with nine singles matches and three doubles matches at London’s O2 Arena.
