Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s first family Thanksgiving seems to have been enjoyable. On Saturday, Lopez shared a slideshow to the tune of her 2002 song “The One” to her Instagram. She captioned the sweet collection of photos, “It’s… Thanksgiving Holiday 🤍🍁.”

The photos show everything from the family’s impressive selection of desserts to a random cow, but the best moment comes when a photo of Lopez’s son Max, 14, rests his head on his beau’s shoulder. father during a car trip appears. The slideshow also includes a short video clip of Max’s twin brother, Emme, curled up in their mother’s lap.

Additional photos and videos show Lopez’s impressive collection of knitwear and winter coats, times spent with her extended family and one of the children taking a picture with their camera. The overall vibe is one of warmth and comfort, which is perfect for Affleck and Lopez’s first big vacation together as a married couple.

In addition to Max and Emme, whom Lopez shares with Marc Anthony, Affleck is also co-parenting Samuel (10), Seraphina (13) and Violet (16) with his ex Jennifer Garner. The blended family had already gone on a trip to Paris shortly after the happy couple tied the knot in July.

Earlier this month, Lopez opened up about raising a blended family in an interview with Vogue. “[The kids] have so many feelings,” she said. “They’re teenagers. But it’s going very well so far. What I hope to cultivate with our family is that [Affleck’s] the kids have a new ally in me and my kids have a new ally in him, someone who truly loves and cares about them but can have a different perspective and help me see things I can’t not see with my kids because I’m so emotionally bonded.”

From the looks of the family’s first Thanksgiving, it looks like things are going well so far. In fact, Lopez recently announced her ninth studio album “This Is Me…Now,” which pays homage to just how far she’s come over the past 20 years. The track listing even includes an ode to Affleck called “Dear Ben Pt. 2.” The album is expected to be released in 2023.
