Rather than the rich tones and neutrals that J.Lo has been favoring lately, nail artist Tom Bachik painted the pop star’s elongated manicure in a light, almost creamy yellow, the buttery hue lending a chic lightness to the look from Lopez (the Mongolian blue fur collar also helped). The vibrant choice, an unexpected alternative to dark winter nails, also echoed Lopez’s sentiments around the album.
“Now I think the message of the album is very strong: if you were wondering, if you, like me sometimes, lost hope, almost gave up, don’t do it,” she says. “Because true love exists and some things last forever. And it’s real. And what better prop to that feeling than an upbeat yellow shoe polish?
