Jennifer Lopez has sidestepped questions that her marriage to Ben Affleck is headed for divorce amid swirling rumors.
The 54-year-old actress and singer denounced a journalist who asked her if the rumors were true during a press conference for her new Netflix film, Atlas.
Footage posted on social media from the Mexico City event shows a reporter asking: “Is your divorce from Ben Affleck real?” These rumors?
“What is the truth? Para le press le Mexicana [for the Mexican press]what is the truth about the situation? »
LopezSimu’s co-star Liu, best known for playing Shang-Chi in the 2021 Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, immediately chimed in, saying, “Okay, we’re not doing that.”
He later added: “Don’t come with this energy, please. »
Lopez also leaned forward and looked directly at the reporter, responding, “You know better than that.”
Singer Jenny From The Block has been promoting the new sci-fi film she is a producer on, without Affleck, 51.
She’s also preparing to go on tour for the film This Is Me…, now in late June, sharing rehearsal footage on social media.

Affleck was also absent from Met Gala in New York earlier this month, although Lopez is co-chair of this year’s fashion event.
The pair married in July 2022 having previously been engaged before a highly publicized split in 2004.
