Just four months after welcoming her first child, Jennifer Lawrence has been walking around New York, showing off her summer street style to the paparazzi. Yesterday Lawrence was pictured in two different outfits, both stylish and perfect for the heat. She first wore a cream dress in Manhattan, while carrying a Christian Dior bag, of course. (The actress is a longtime ambassador for the French fashion house.)
Lawrence then changed into a navy strappy dress and black jacket. She wore her blonde hair on both outings, carried the same handbag and accessorized with the same beige sandals. Versatility!
Lawrence did not reveal her baby’s exact gender, name or date of birth. That should come as no surprise, given that during her pregnancy she warned the world that she wouldn’t share anything about herself and husband Cooke Maroney’s baby.
In November, Lawrence explained her decision not to speak publicly about her child to vanity lounge. “If I was at a dinner party and someone said to me, ‘Oh my God, you’re having a baby’, I wouldn’t say, ‘God, I can’t talk about it.’ Stay away from me , kind of psychopath!”, she prefaced. “But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as possible. I don’t want anyone to feel welcome in his existence. And I feel like that starts with not including them in that part of my work.
