Jennifer Lawrence is expecting her first baby with her husband, Cooke Maroney, according to a tabloid.
Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney tied the knot in 2019. It’s been two years and the couple have yet to welcome their firstborn. However, several tabloids are eager to see their first child with a point of sale claiming that the Hunger games star was pictured with a baby bump.

Last year, Jennifer Lawrence was spotted walking around New York City. She was wearing a tight dress with a slight bulge on her stomach which was visible in the photo.
Woman’s Day immediately assumed Lawrence was pregnant and expecting her first baby with her husband. The outlet also cited anonymous insiders to back up its claim.
He cited an anonymous source as saying that Lawrence “took the baby of his dreams on board.” She wished she had children after drooling over Amy Schumer’s baby. And the Joy the actress would have wanted a boy too.
The outlet added that Lawrence and Cooke Maroney wanted to have a baby. The lockdown would have been a perfect opportunity for them to nest well and for her to get sober and be very health conscious for her pregnancy.
“It would be like Jen to do something like that. She’s been crazy about baby for a very long time, and what better gift for her and Cooke – a family! the report concluded.
Pregnancy rumor debunked
Gossip cop reviewed the report and debunked it as it was not true.
First, the tabloid claimed that Jennifer Lawrence was due to give birth by Christmas 2020. Apparently that did not happen.
In fact, when Joe Biden was announced as the next one, she was filmed running and screaming on the street in celebration. And contrary to the report, Lawrence didn’t look pregnant at all. There were no baby bumps or signs that she was expecting.
The rumor busting site noted that such a story often happens to actresses in their bad photos. In the photo of Lawrence, she rocked a slight bump from her dress.
Gossip cop also noted that Lawrence’s camp themselves never confirmed the news of the pregnancy. The outlet noted that such a report only promotes sexism and bodily shame.
Plus, this isn’t the first time Lawrence has been the subject of a pregnancy rumor. Another outlet even claimed that she was planning to stop acting.
An insider said Us weekly that Lawrence was planning to leave Hollywood to get married. She wanted to take a step back and focus on her relationship with Maroney.
Gossip cop also debunked the report. While it’s true that Jennifer Lawrence took a break, she hasn’t stopped acting. In fact, she should return to the original Netflix movie. Do not seek.
