Jennifer Lawrence recalled an awkward moment while filming Don’t look up where she accidentally inhaled a magnetic nose ring.
The actor sports red hair and two nose rings for his role as an astronomer in the Netflix film.
Talk to Vanity Show of costume accidents, Lawrence said, “The nose rings… we kind of hang on; one is a magnet. And many, many times, I accidentally inhaled said magnet and had to spit it out in front of Leonardo DiCaprio.
Lawrence and DiCaprio star in the film alongside Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, and Ariana Grande.
Do not seek is a comedy that follows two astronomers (Lawrence and DiCaprio) who attempt to warn the world that a giant meteorite is going to destroy Earth in six months.
In February, Lawrence suffered minor injuries after a stunt glass explosion went awry on the set of Don’t look.
The Netflix comedy was forced to temporarily halt production following the disruption.
Lawrence was filming a scene with Timothée Chalamet when the controlled glass explosion caused shards of glass to fly, causing minor injuries to the Hunger games Star.
This week, Netflix unveiled the full trailer for Don’t look.
Director Adam McKay described the film as a “dark comedy,” recounting the Happy Sad Confused podcast earlier this year that it is “a disaster movie in which people don’t necessarily believe disaster is happening.”
He added, “These are two very sincere mid-level astronomers making the discovery of their lives – a killer asteroid heading for Earth. They have to warn everyone and do a media tour.
“They are the ones who navigate our world. They are the ones who navigate their Twitter counterpart. They are the ones who navigate the political landscape. They are the ones who navigate the talk shows and how they are viewed.
Do not seek hits UK theaters on December 10, before arriving on Netflix on December 24.
