Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague have announced they are expecting a child together – and Jake Paul’s response wasn’t fancy.
The couple, who have been together since meeting on reality show Love Island in 2019, shared the exciting news with fans on Sunday.
But Paul, nicknamed “The Problem Child”, didn’t really offer his congratulations upon hearing the news.
“Shocking. Tommy usually pulls out,” Paul tweeted in reaction to a social media post revealing the news of Molly’s pregnancy.
This was no doubt in reference to Paul’s frustrations at not being able to fight Fury.
They were scheduled to lock horns in December 2021, however, the fight was canceled as Fury pulled out with a chest infection and a broken rib.
The fight was then rearranged for August 6, but that too fell through after Fury was denied entry to the United States for a press conference scheduled for July.
Earlier in the weekend there was renewed hope that Fury and Paul could one day step into the ring with Paul agreeing to rebook the fight.
British fighter Fury hijacked Amanda Serrano’s FaceTime with promoter Paul after her win over Sarah Mahfoud in the Joe Joyce v Joseph Parker undercard in Manchester on Saturday night.
“Tommy, let’s make the fight happen buddy. Let’s make it happen,” Paul said.
Fury replied, “I’ll see you soon.”
