Jaimi Kenny’s younger sister shared her grief in a heartbreaking tribute.
Jaimi, the eldest daughter of Australian sports power couple Grant Kenny and Lisa Curry, died aged 33 on Monday after battling an eating disorder for years.
Morgan Gruell remembered her ‘beautiful big sister’ on Tuesday in a moving Instagram post, saying she ‘will be missed forever’.

“It still doesn’t seem real that you weren’t here,” Morgan began.
“I’m so grateful for the time I had you as a big sister. I’m thankful that Flynn spent two and a half years with his aunt.
“I appreciate your combing your hair and allowing me to borrow your clothes. I appreciate it. There is no one like you.
“I love you so much and I will miss you forever. Stay now beautiful sister. You will never be forgotten. ‘

Morgan accompanied her moving post with a return photo of herself and Jaimi in happier times.
The photo showed the sisters posing in a backyard in cocktail dresses while turning to smile at each other.
Morgan was married to her high school sweetheart, Ryan Gruell, in May 2016 and the couple share a two-year-old son, Flynn.
They were married in a ceremony on the beach in Noosa, Queensland. Jaimi was one of his bridesmaids.

The Curry-Kenny family confirmed Jaimi’s death in a statement Monday afternoon.
‘It is with very heavy hearts that Lisa and I confirm that our beautiful daughter Jaimi lost her battle with a long-lasting illness and passed away peacefully in hospital this morning in the company of a loving family,’ reads -on in the press release. written by Jaimi’s father, Grant.
“Jaimi will forever be remembered as a caring, bright and loving soul who always puts others before herself,” he continued.
“Our hearts are broken and the pain is immense, but we must move forward cherishing every wonderful moment we have been able to share with our precious first child.
“ We thank the amazing team at Sunshine Coast Teaching Hospital for their tireless commitment to making it better and giving us the extra time we were able to spend with them.
“ It goes without saying that this is a very difficult time for family and friends and we are confident that we will all be allowed to cry in privacy. ”
Although the family statement did not clarify the exact nature of Jaimi’s illness, it is understood that she has long battled an eating disorder.
Her family had supported her through years of treatment at the private End ED clinic on the Sunshine Coast.
Jaimi is survived by his sister Morgan, brother Jett, mother Lisa, father Grant and younger half-sister Trixie, from Grant’s relationship with radio host Fifi Box.

The daughter of Australian sports greats Lisa Curry and Grant Kenny had long battled an eating disorder, with her family supporting her through years of treatment at a private clinic.
Jaimi Kenny died Monday morning at Sunshine Coast University Hospital, surrounded by her family, including her Olympian mother and Ironman father.
The 33-year-old had been supported by her parents and siblings through many years of treatment at the private End ED clinic on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Broken clinic staff said they couldn’t discuss Jaimi’s struggle, but explained how she had become part of the “family” over the years.
Despite her weight issues, Jaimi’s friends said she still brings “ light and laughter ” into the lives of those she surrounds.
Lisa Curry marked the death of her daughter with a tragic statement.
“Our hearts are completely broken. Our beautiful daughter Jaimi lost her battle with a long lasting illness and passed away peacefully in hospital yesterday morning with her loving family by her side, ”Lisa wrote.
‘So loved. So pretty. So nice to everyone … So painful. I can hardly breathe.
