Jacqueline Jossa closes her business after repaying £51,000 in debt – after being questioned by HMRC over a previous unpaid tax bill
Jacqueline Jossa has closed her business after paying off £51,000 in debt.
The former EastEnders star, 29, – who revealed she had to sell her house due to financial difficulties after leaving the soap in 2018 – has now closed her business, according to The Sun.
Jacqueline was reportedly questioned by HMRC last year over the then-unpaid £32,000 tax bill.

She had tried to close her company Pooker Bash Limited, which managed her soap revenue, but had to cooperate with an investigation into the dealings made by the company.
In documents filed at Companies House, first seen by The Sun, it is claimed Jacqueline owed a total of £43,457, including £21,905 in taxes and £10,171 in VAT.
The soap opera star has so far failed to repay debts through his business since it went into voluntary liquidation in 2019.

The company was originally set up to handle revenue from her role as Lauren Branning on EastEnders which she played from 2010 to 2018.
Now the liquidator company has completed its investigation and closed Pooker Bash after receiving £51,523 from Jacqueline to pay off some of her debts.
Representatives for Jacqueline have been contacted by MailOnline for comment.
Jacqueline previously revealed on Sam and Billie Faiers’ podcast The Sam and Billie show that she was forced to sell her house after quitting soap to help pay the bills.

She said: “I was on EastEnders for eight years, where you got a flat paycheck every week. It was a fixed salary and I had nothing else to do. It was my comfort blanket, that’s what I knew. So that just wasn’t the case.
“For me, there’s nothing like maternity pay, so when I had kids I had to leave and I had to do magazine covers to earn money for feed my children.
“There were times when I didn’t have any money. Before going to the jungle, I struggled with money. I had to sell my house.
Jacqueline won I’m A Celebrity in 2019 and has since forged a successful career through her acting school and fashion range.
