Jack Harrison took to Instagram to reveal how badly he was beaten in Leeds’ win over Wolves.
The 26-year-old opened the scoring for the Whites in their crucial 4-2 away win against fellow Premier League contenders.
In the first half, he was blasted in the face by the ball and ended up with a bloody nose.
However, that wasn’t the only injury he suffered at Wolves, with Harrison posting about his other injuries on social media.
A story on his Instagram account was accompanied by the caption: “Battle. Bloody nose. Bloody hand. Stitches at halftime.
The bloody tip of the index finger of his right hand has clearly been through the wars.
Both of his legs are covered in cuts and scrapes, with stitches on his left leg.
It’s clear that Harrison put his body on the line for Leeds and helped them claim vital points in their quest for Premier League survival.
He scored the game’s first goal in the 6th minute, firing a low cross from Wilfried Gnonto.
It was the winger’s third Premier League goal this season, and second in as many games after his curling strike against Brighton.
Luke Ayling’s second-half header gave the Yorkshire side a decisive lead, with Rasmus Kristensen scoring his third just after the hour mark.
Jonny Otto scored a long-range stunner for Wolves to cut the deficit, and Matheus Cunha made it 3-2 as time ran out.
However, Jonny was sent off for a poor tackle on Ayling before Rodrigo netted Leeds’ fourth.
Captain Ruben Neves was also given his marching orders deep in stoppage time as Wolves fell to defeat with nine men.
