Jack Grealish was spotted returning to training for Aston Villa today amid a £ 100million offer from Man City.
Grealish is wanted by the defending Premier League champions in a huge deal that would shatter Britain’s transfer record.
talkSPORT understands that City made a formal offer of £ 100million to sign Grealish on Friday, after weeks of speculation.
Villa may have to reluctantly accept the offer, despite their efforts to keep him.
The childhood fan was spotted returning to training with the club on Monday, despite uncertainty over his future.
It may be a question of when and not if he leaves the club this summer.
Whatever happens, Grealish will always be an Aston Villa legend, according to Jamie O’Hara.
“I played for Tottenham, my childhood club, and it was a dream to play for them,” O’Hara said on Drivetime on Friday.
“But for Jack Grealish, he’s been at Aston Villa for a long time now, he’s done great things, he’s already a legend.
“If he leaves tomorrow and goes to Man City, he will always be an Aston Villa legend.”
In contrast, Harry Kane did not show up at Tottenham training ground this morning.
He, like Grealish, is wanted by City this summer in a deal that is expected to eclipse the fees the Aston Villa playmaker will command.
Spurs declined to comment on the information as the England ace look to move away after being frustrated by the lack of silverware he won during his time at the north London club.
