Taylor Swift was the undisputed queen of Billboard charts this week, topping the top charts and achieving feats none before her have achieved.

While this period may belong to her, there are already rumors about next week and who will be in charge, and it looks like two of the most successful solo female pop stars of all time are vying for the top spot on the singles chart. … but who will win?

Currently, Swift leads the Hot 100 – BillboardThe weekly ranking of the most consumed songs in the United States – with its latest single “Anti-Hero”.

The most popular track from his huge album Midnights debuted in first place, becoming its ninth leader and fifth instant champion.

The cut easily opened at the top of the count, facing no competition except other Swift songs, as the singer became the first in history to claim the entire top 10 for herself thanks upon immediate receipt. Midnight appreciated.

While “Anti-Hero” may be a huge new hit for Swift, it faces even tougher competition when it comes to earning a second week atop the Hot 100.

A week after Midnights arrival, Rihanna returned with her first new single in years, “Lift Me Up.”

To say the track was highly anticipated doesn’t do the hype justice. Helping to make the release even bigger than it already would have been is the fact that “Lift Me Up” leads the next Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

The latest film’s album, which was curated and produced by Kendrick Lamar, produced a number of hits, and this latest offering is set to do the same.

“Lift Me Up” has already been mentioned in Oscar talk, and it could very well be up for Best Original Song.

Awards aside, Rihanna is aiming to land her fifteenth Hot 100 leader with the tune. Even if the song fails to open the top spot, it’s sure to land its thirty-second top 10 on the chart, a sum that very few names have even come close to collecting.

So right now, Swift and Rihanna are vying for the top spot on next week’s Hot 100, and it seems almost certain that either “Anti-Hero” or “Lift Me Up” will win. At the moment, some early predictions suggest that Swift won’t give up the throne, even though Rihanna has been gone for a while. The champion should be announced by Billboard Monday, November 7.
