Simon Jordan has exclusively revealed he is considering making a bid to buy Championship club Coventry City.

Jordan revealed his intentions during a discussion centered on the club’s on-field struggles, insisting the Sky Blues would be a good football club to buy.

According to The Times, SISU – the clubs’ hedge fund owners – would be open to offers from a potential buyer with the financial capabilities to take advantage of the financial difficulties unfolding at Wasps – which owns the Coventry Building Society Arena, where City play their home matches. .

A talkSPORT listener then asked the former Crystal Palace chairman if he would ever show an interest in buying the Midlands club to which Jordan gave an honest and open answer.

“It’s something I discussed with Gary Hoffman years ago before he became Premier League chairman,” Jordan told talkSPORT.

“It’s something I’m watching potentially, right now because it’s in play, so yeah.

“The football club is for sale. Whether it’s for me to buy with other people is a different discussion but it’s for sale and it’s a football club I’m encouraged to watch so it’s not something I don’t am not aware.
