Manchester City host Manchester United on Sunday in an action-packed weekend of Premier League derby action, but the Red Devils could be missing a key man.

The first Manchester derby of the season comes as Pep Guardiola’s unbeaten side take on Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils who have won four games in a row.

Man United are in fine form in the Premier League under Erik ten Hag

However, a main player in United’s winning run could face a race to get fit ahead of the Etihad trip.

Marcus Rashford scored twice against Arsenal last time out in the league but suffered a hamstring injury during the game.

This ruled out the Englishman from the last two games against Real Sociedad and Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League.

He has also been ruled out of a potential return to the England squad for their recent Nations League games.

Two away games and a fortnight off during the international break have helped Rashford rest and recover and he is now back in training.

Meanwhile, Donny van de Beek is also a doubt for United while Anthony Martial will not feature.

Cristiano Ronaldo suffered a horrific cut to his face while on international duty and it remains to be seen whether he will be fit to face City.

Casemiro is set to make his first league start for the Red Devils.
