the iPhone 12 is already one of the most anticipated phones of the year. Apple generally does a great job of making a great device, but some people have created their own version of how they think the next iPhone should be designed. And the latter is quite a look.
A new design by Technizo concept for Iphone (via T3) shows us what would happen if Apple returned to its old iPhones for inspiration, but keeping and building on the current functionality of the iPhone range.
The bump in the camera itself follows the example given by the iPhone 11 series, matching the raised section to the main body of the iPhone, which ConceptsiPhone presents in seven elegant shades. The shades chosen follow the more subtle example of the iPhone 11 Pro rather than the brighter options of the standard iPhone 11, the brighter colors being almost pastel and darker, including the iPhone 12 midnight blue depending on the rumor, almost indistinguishable from the traditional all-black model.
At the front, the notch allowing the identification of the face remains, which would continue to divide the opinions of the users if it happened on another generation of iPhone. These designs, however, appear to have made the black space around the camera and the network of infrared sensors slightly thinner, the edges of the notch narrowing more sharply, in order to maximize the space on the screen.
The body of the phone still looks like that of the iphone 4 or iPhone SE with its flat edges. Although it looks a lot like this, there are competing rumors that the sides of the next iPhone will be curved as they have been since the iPhone X. The buttons remain in familiar places, but the bottom port, which has been a Lightning connector for many years now, appears to have a USB-C connection instead. That would match what Apple has done with the most recent iPad Pro, but first of all would be welcome for the iPhone range.
There is no indication of size in the video itself, but we have other rumors to tell us what size the iPhone 12 could be. We apparently have four different iPhones this year in three different sizes – a 5.4-inch model, two models with a 6.1-inch screen and a huge 6.7-inch version to complete the range.
Whether these renderings are accurate or completely irrelevant, we will most likely find the answer in September, when Apple tends to reveal the new iPhone. the a coronavirus outbreak may have caused problems for Apple, but with several months to go, it would be wrong to assume at this point that the iPhone 12 will miss its debut.
