Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti has said winning the Champions League in Madrid was an unforgettable experience for him and the team, according to a Turkish media report.

Speaking during an interview with Sabah SportsGoing through FCInternewsJavier Zanetti has looked back on some of the best moments of his Inter career.

He picked the 2010 Champions League final victory in Madrid as an unforgettable moment when asked what was the best of his career.

“I have good memories, especially with Inter, but winning the Champions League in Madrid was definitely something unforgettable.”

He was then asked which goal he remembers the most and he picked strikes against AS Roma and Lazio. One was in the league and the other in the UEFA Cup.

“The Scudetto goal I scored in a league game against Roma (February 2008) and the one I scored in the UEFA Cup final in Paris against Lazio.”

He was asked about the two Turkish players he played with at Inter, Okan Buruk and Emre Belozoglu: “Okan and Emre are very good friends, I have good memories of them. I wish them everything. there is better.”

He also remained very loyal to Inter when asked who his favorite Turkish footballer is right now: ‘Hakan Calhanoglu’.
