Marcus Rashford is in the form of his life for Manchester United, scoring 11 goals in 13 games in all competitions since the World Cup.
Six of those have come in seven Premier League appearances and Rashford has put the Red Devils back in the title hunt with his record clearly placing him as the club’s top scorer.
The 25-year-old has scored in each of his last five league appearances at Old Trafford, his most recent being a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.
Erik ten Hag’s side now welcome Leeds to Manchester on Wednesday – EXCLUSIVELY live on talkSPORT – and the striker will be aiming to extend their run to six.
If Rashford can continue his scoring form at home in the Premier League, he will emulate United’s all-time top goalscorer.
Wayne Rooney was the last Red Devils player to score six goals in six Premier League appearances, a feat he achieved in April 2012.
Matching Rooney’s streak would place him among the club’s legends, but he’s already beaten huge names in all competitions.
Rashford had scored a total of nine consecutive games at Old Trafford, although that run ended against Reading in the FA Cup.

This superb goalscoring streak saw him blitz the similar streaks of Cristiano Ronaldo and Ruud Van Nistelrooy who scored in six consecutive home matches during their time at the club.
Rashford managed to beat those achievements with ease by managing to score in nine straight games at Old Trafford.
He scored his seventh in a row to break their record against Everton in January before scoring three times in the next two games.
So, having already toppled some United legends, Rashford will try to emulate another in Rooney this week.
