For many, the Tyson Fury vs. Derek Chisora matchup seems like a foregone conclusion, but ‘The Gypsy King’ is less convinced.
The pair are set to face off on December 3 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in what will be their third fight.
In 2011, Fury defeated Chisora by unanimous decision, then followed that up with a stoppage victory in 2014 in their rematch.
Although the first two fights are so one-sided, Fury still believes that Chisora poses a threat in the trilogy.
“If he wants to beat me he has to knock me out,” Fury said of Chisora during the BT Sport Boxing face off.
“The same thing everyone has to knock me out, no one is going to beat me on points, I’m throwing so many hundreds of punches so they can’t beat me on points and they have to knock me out.
“Listen, anyone can knock anyone out, I’m not Mr Super-Human.
“I’ve been shot many times, but keeping me there is another story.
“If any man in this world, including Wilder, including anyone, is missing, he’ll find out and he’ll knock him out.
“Every time I watch him fight, I’m like ‘come on! All my kids are Derek Chisora fans, they grew up watching this man.
That being said, if Fury goes through Chisora and England qualify for the World Cup group stages, ‘The Gypsy King’ has revealed he will travel to Qatar.
“If England are successful I will go to Qatar for sure. I wouldn’t rush for a group game because I expected us to go through this crap,” Fury said.
“But if they get to the semi-finals or the final, I’ll be on my way to Qatar. It would be great to get a win in the Winter World Cup after all these years.
