Aaron Chalmers hopes his upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather can help secure future matchups with some of boxing’s biggest names in influence.
Last month, the Geordie Shore star was surprisingly booked to take on Mayweather in an exhibition bout at London’s O2 Arena on February 25.

Mayweather will face Chalmers next month
‘The Best Ever’ has been traveling the world since retiring in 2017, taking novelty fights against rookie opponents such as YouTuber stars Logan Paul and Deji.
Now he comes to the UK to face Chalmers which came after ONE Championship Muay Thai fighter Liam Harrison fell from a fight with Mayweather due to injury.
‘The Joker’ switched to boxing last year and won his debut after competing seven times as an MMA fighter before ending his career.
Chalmers hopes a strong showing against Mayweather will set him up for potential fights with KSI, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury later this year.
He told Gareth A. Davies: “I think towards the end of last year all these types of people were moving away from us.
“They were kind of out of reach [because] I was not active and had a lot to do in my personal life. I started thinking that these fights weren’t going to happen. A bit of luck came back and put us in this position.

” I imagine myself. I would love to walk in with Jake, Tommy and KSI.
“Once I’ve fought them three, I’d be happy to sail into the sunset with my kids. I know these are my kids set up for the rest of their lives if this happens.
“Of course I’m still fighting, but the main focus right now is Floyd. Apparently Jake and Tommy are fighting the same night, so give me the winner or loser of this fight.
The 35-year-old has respect for what internet celebrities do in boxing, but wonders if they’re willing to dig deep when times get tough in the ring.

He also wants to face Jake Paul and Tommy Fury who are fighting later this month.
Chalmers added: “Fair play to all these YouTubers, they do absolutely amazing things and I want to be a part of that.
“These kids, no disrespect to them, they never had a normal job. They didn’t get up at 5 a.m. to carry scaffolding to a construction site.
“So when it comes to swinging and having heart, do half of them have balls?
“I don’t think they did. It would be nice to see if he came to bite the come shield, let’s fight. I think half of them would bottle it.
