KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Former Kansas City Chiefs running back Le’Veon Bell responded to a fan’s comment on an Instagram post saying he would never play for head coach Andy again Reid.
The post on @Rap was from a person ordering $ 700 from McDonald’s. Bell commented on the post and one fan took the opportunity to ask if he was returning to the Chiefs.
“Did the chiefs resign because if so let’s try to bring one home this time,” the comment said.
Bell responded by saying, “I’ll never play for Andy Reid again… I’ll retire first.”
The double All-Pro attacker struggled to see the field in no time with the Chiefs playing just 9 games and getting just 63 touches in the regular season.
In the playoffs, Bell got just two touches and didn’t make the Super Bowl.
Bell also responded to fans on Twitter saying he hasn’t had the opportunity to make an impact on the pitch since leaving the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“I probably need to play for a defensive-minded head coach instead of these offensive-minded gurus,” the tweet said.
When Bell joined the Chiefs in the middle of the 2020 season, he was excited about the potential to play on such a powerful offense.
Bell is now a free agent and is looking to sign with another team.
