John Fury hit back at Eddie Hearn after the rival promoter criticized his conduct at the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury press conference last week.
BT Sport apologized for the media event which was broadcast live on its YouTube channel and quickly got out of hand.
It was John Fury, father of Tyson and Tommy, who engaged in a furious virtual brawl with the YouTuber turned boxer, who participated in a video call from the United States.
The couple traded multiple slurs, with the YouTuber claiming that Fury Sr was living off his sons’ accomplishments, calling him a “nobody” and telling him to “suck my cock”.
John fired back with taunts saying he would “beat the shit” if he ever went to America and “didn’t have any publicity to suck.”
Fury Sr also made the vulgar remark: “You know, when Tommy knocks you down, he’s going to bend your girlfriend and make her like a dog.”
Asked about the controversy, Hearn told iFL TV, “I thought it was disgusting to be honest with you. You have the younger generation watching this.
“Even, in fact, for once, I felt a bit for Frank Warren because I was there on a much less cringe stage with KSI and Logan Paul.
“Frank was embarrassed. The language is horrible. I love beef, I love it, but for me it is a bad look.
John has now responded and said, “Back to you, Eddie Hearn, again mentioning the Furys, telling me [at the press conference] is embarrassing, rude, disrespectful.
“Well listen buddy, when you live in a glass house and throw rocks at people you can expect someone to fall back on your head anytime man.”
“There is such a thing as Eddie karma.
“I know you’re not doing very well right now and BT and Frank Warren are tearing you apart on all roads, but everyone has their day mate.
“Listen, I’m not trying to be anything other than who I am – a raggle taggle gypsy.
“I’m not trying to be a king, I’m not trying to be a gentleman, I’m just me.
“If people can take offense at what I’m saying – this is the fighting game, people here are smashing each other, trying to knock people out and hurt people.”
“So some unsavory little jokes and people take it out of the text, and I can’t help it.”
“I’m a man enough to apologize to all the people who don’t understand and don’t understand me.
“To these people – no harm meant and I will apologize to anyone who was offended, but it’s me, I’m not a gentleman, I’m not trying to be, I’m this that I am.
“But Eddie, you just have a problem with the Furys because you don’t get paid by them, do you?”
That’s why you spit them out and jump on every floating log that you think could discredit a Fury.
“But it’s just you mate, because you’re heavy with the green-eyed monster.
“And you do it in a glass house, so be careful what you say about other people, look at yourself in the mirror, and think long and hard about your own life, your own family, before you call out to others.
“You know what I’m talking about buddy, you know what I’m talking about, so if we don’t want to go any further with all these bulls *** Eddie, say nice things about the Furys.
“Because John Fury is going to bury you. I’ll bury you. You’ll wish you had never heard of Fury’s name.
“So at the end of the day, buddy, let’s be nice to each other, work with each other, don’t be jealous of anyone’s good fortune.”
“Tyson is the best in the world buddy, he had to prove it, he had to make his millions and he finished this buddy.”
“So credit him, don’t discredit him and you will go up in everyone’s estimates.”
