It comes after Idris said he disagreed with fans swooning over his ‘sexy’ voice when he thought he sounded like a ‘shopkeeper from Canning Town Market’ .
The star responded to fans’ opinions of his voice, saying she was “baffled” because he never considered himself to be attractive speaking.
Speaking on Thursday’s Loose Women show, he explained: ‘I’m baffled. I think I look like a trader from Canning Town. “Bring your fish here, £10!” is expensive fish, but I don’t necessarily think my voice is sexy… but hey, I’ll take the compliment.”

He added that he was excited to be part of an animated film because it meant his seven-year-old son Winston would actually be able to watch it, unlike crime drama Luther.
Idris then opened up about turning 50 in September to hosts Ruth Langsford and Kellé Bryan, admitting he still feels like he’s in his 30s.

Idris also opened up about how his Coupledom podcast, which sees him talking with his wife Sabrina with other couples, has helped strengthen their own relationship.
He added: “It certainly gave us a lot of information about our own relationship and it’s weird because talking to people about their relationship, you have to tell a lot about your own personal relationship and that’s been quite freeing for us.”
