A man who lives near the house where four University of Idaho students were killed last month said he heard an early morning scream of attacks in the crime scene area, according to a local report.
Inan Harsh, a local chief, told the Idaho statesman that he came home around 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 13 after working late. The house at 1122 King Road in Moscow, Idaho, was usually busy even then, he told the news site, but instead “there weren’t many ‘activity”.
Hours later, as he began to fall asleep around 4 a.m., he said he heard what sounded like a scream coming from the 1122 King Road area, the Statesman reported. However, Harsh reportedly didn’t think much of the scream and instead associated it with a “party sound” rather than a more negative value.

“I didn’t think anything about it,” Harsh told the news site. “After what happened, I definitely changed my mind. Maybe it wasn’t a party sound.”
He reportedly said he didn’t initially tell the police about the sound, adding: ‘I don’t know what use it is to them now.’

According to the report, Harsh previously notified police of an unknown black SUV that was parked near the front of the King Road house.

Sunday will mark one month since the horrific quadruple homicide, which remains unsolved and no murder weapon has been recovered.
Ethan Chapin, 20; Kaylee Gonçalves, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Madison Mogen, 21, were discovered fatally stabbed inside their three-story residence just before noon on November 13. The house is located just one block from the University of Idaho campus and within sight of some of the fraternity houses.

Officials said they believe the victims were sleeping when they were attacked between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Each victim suffered multiple stab wounds and some showed signs of self-defence.

The attacks took place on the second and third floors. Two other housemates were on the ground floor of the house and were not injured, police said.
Earlier this week, police revealed they had received tips and leads relating to a white 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra spotted near the crime scene in the early morning hours of November 13. They try to speak with the person or persons who were inside the vehicle. , and ask the public for any information about the vehicle.
