Speaking about the requirements she had to meet before going on the trip, Alba said she couldn’t resist alcohol, meat and the comforts of home. Drinking margaritas and eating tacos, Jessica Alba said she felt like a failure when a group of seniors passed their group while hiking.

From her business to the detox hike, Alba had quite a few stories to tell but none were more entertaining than her hike. Although unable to resist the alcohol, the crunch of meat and the luxurious comforts of her home, Alba did everything she was told not to do the day before she began her hike.
“It was a vegan backpacking detox situation and I didn’t realize it. So in my mind, I’m like, “I’m going there to do healthy things.” But actually, you’re supposed to eliminate all the stuff before you get there. So for a month you should stop drinking alcohol. And I was like uh… the night before, I was like, “How many margaritas can I put in this?” » ».

“And then they’re like, well you should eliminate meat for, you know, a week or two. I felt like I was eating tacos that morning with everything on them. Oh yeah, you’re supposed to hike about six miles a day! »
Even though she disparaged the backpacking trip, Alba quickly realized she was in it for the short term because she was already puffing from the start of the trip.

As the hike progressed, Jessica Alba quickly realized that the things she should have avoided were there for a reason. As the interview continued, Alba said that a group of seniors were outperforming her group and that she felt very disappointed in herself.
“But then we were hiking and our first day we’re halfway up. We’re like, “We don’t know if we can do this anymore,” and then a group of strong, strong older people, like boom, walk right past us. And we die, huffing and puffing. And then they came and lapped us up. They went up to the top and came back down. And we hadn’t quite caught up yet.
She ended the story by stating:
“One of those moments where you think, ‘Maybe I’m failing. Either way, it’s not my thing.
