Kyle Walker says he will adopt the cat who has become something of a celebrity in the English camp.
The Manchester City full-back seems to have made a new friend during his time at the Three Lions training camp in Qatar, and is keen to bring ‘Dave’ home should football come home.

Walker and Stones made a new friend in Qatar
‘Dave’ has been making regular appearances in the England camp over the past few weeks, with Walker and compatriot John Stones growing closer to their four-legged companion.
speaking on “Lions’ Den” show in Englandthe right-back said: “He was just there one day so we just adopted him, me and Stonesy.”
Walker then revealed that it was Stones who came up with the name, adding: “I don’t care, obviously I don’t care about cats, but I don’t like touching them.
“Dave is just welcome at the table. There’s me John, Kalvin [Phillips] and Raz [Raheem Sterling]. We get a few appearances from Phil and the other guys who want to join us.
“But everyone seems to be drifting away because we keep inviting the cat. Some people really don’t like the cat, but I love it, I love it.
Walker quickly made a promise to host Josh Denzel about what would happen with Dave if England went all the way to Qatar.
Dave could find a new home in Manchester if England win the World Cup
“I would love to adopt him,” Walker said. “If we win the World Cup, I’ll adopt the cat if I can take it back.
“Me and John, we can share. We’re going to put him in City’s training ground.
Walker made his first appearance at this year’s World Cup in England won 3-0 over Wales, with the City defender playing just under an hour against the Dragons.
He could return home with even more baggage at the end of the tournament, and Dave could become Walker’s new best friend if the Three Lions are victorious in Qatar.
