Osimhen climbed into the crowd to apologize to the Spezia supporter during the warm-up
A video that went viral on social media showed the 24-year-old climbing through the end of Spezia as supporters cheered as he walked towards the fan.
Other supporters attempted to take a selfie with the in-form centre-forward as he returned to the pitch.
And while Osimhen didn’t put on his shooting boots before the game, he certainly did in Sunday’s 3-0 win.
The Nigeria international netted twice in the second half to extend Napoli’s lead at the top of the Serie A table to 16 points.
Osimhen revealed after the match that he felt “so sorry” after punching the woman in the face.
Quoted by Football Italia, he said: “I was doing the practice shot, I shot over the goal and there was a lady in the middle of the fans.

“I think she was looking at her phone, the bullet hit her in the face and I felt so sorry, because I didn’t want to do that.
“I had to show my appreciation and apologize for that.”
Osimhen’s brace netted 14 top-flight goals of the season as he leads the scoring charts in the Italian top flight.
His stunning form has seen him attract the attention of Chelsea and Manchester United ahead of a potential summer transfer.

Osimhen has been linked with a summer move to the Premier League
According to the Mirror, the Premier League giants are locked in a battle to sign him.
United are on the hunt for a new striker as they look to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, with loan signing Wout Weghorst to return to Burnley at the end of the campaign.
As for Chelsea, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fell out of favor under Graham Potter, while Kai Havertz struggled for consistency when tasked with leading the line.
It has been said that Blues owner Todd Boehly is ready to pay whatever it takes to sign Osimhen, who has been valued at £89million.
Chelsea raided Napoli last summer to bring centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly to Stamford Bridge in a £34m deal.
