Shane Fury is not a fan of his father John Fury’s recent antics.
Over the past two weeks, Fury Sr has been embroiled in a feud with Carl Froch after the British boxing legend, now pundit, criticized his son Tyson Fury.
John even called Froch out for a fight, despite the fact he turns 60 in May.
This caused at least one of his sons to shake his head in dismay.
Shane told BoxingKingMedia: “It’s pretty cringe in all honesty, coming from my dad.
“I don’t agree with that at all, but my dad is his own man.
“He’s his own man and he’ll do what he does.
“I never really talked to him about it.
“With my dad, he’s angry because he’s exactly like me, he’s emotionally involved in this.
“And when he gets angry, he says things. He’d be better off eating a cheese sandwich and watching TV.
“I don’t really care about that aspect, he’s got a few people offering it and I think they’re talking about fighting, but we’ll see.”
When asked if he wanted to see his father fight again, Shane replied: “No, not really.
“But the problem is, if you open your mouth and say things that resonate with everyone and someone wants to rise to the occasion, then you have to do it.
“Would I like to see him fight? No.
“Would it be a good fight? Probably not at 60.
“But I’m sure there will be a lot of people who want to see it.”
