Huron Primary Student of the Month recipient wins Samsung A7 tablet – The Star Beacon

TOWNSHIP OF SAYBROOK — A student from Huron Elementary School has won a Samsung A7 tablet, donated by Ziegler Heating.

First-grader Gary Miller was one of 28 Student of the Month recipients who gathered Friday at Lakeside High School for an end-of-year celebration. All the guests enjoyed the pizza, cookies, fries and bottled water.

All 2021-22 winners of the Student of the Month award were presented with a plaque and prizes at a school board meeting of Ashtabula Area Schools and then informed that they would be entered into a raffle. comes out for a Samsung A7 tablet. The winner would be announced at the end of the school year.

Superintendent Mark Potts thanked Ziegler Heating for donating the year-end gift and the YMCA of Ashtabula County, who sponsored the monthly student plaques and partnered with the district for this monthly recognition.

This program recognizes students for displaying the qualities of Dragon’s ROAR Universal Expectations (respectful, outstanding scholars, always safe, responsible).

The school board also recognizes parents and families of winners at board meetings. Spectators applaud the success of students and parents.
