Huawei WATCH GT 2 and Huawei WATCH GT 2e smartwatches have recently received system updates. Indeed, now they support the download of third-party applications.

The content of the update for all three watches is roughly the same. In addition to supporting third-party app download, it can also install heart health research apps, measure heart health-related data through the watch, and optimize system stability in certain scenarios.
Users eligible to upgrade can go to Sports Health >> Click the connected device in the device interface >> go to the device details page >> check for firmware update >> update the version.
To download third-party apps, you need to use the sports and health app of Huawei smartphones. The latter must be downloaded via EMUI 4.0 and above or HarmonyOS.
Both watches entered the market a few years ago. Honestly, the Huawei WATCH GT 2 arrived a year earlier in 2019. Either way, these two very popular Huawei smartwatches fall into the premium category.
