Huawei officially confirmed today that the Watch D, its highly anticipated smartwatch which includes built-in ECG and blood pressure monitoring features, will be launched in Malaysia later this month. As you may recall, the two aforementioned features had recently gained their respective approvals from the Malaysian Medical Devices Authority Registry (MDAR), finally allowing the company to distribute the wearable in the local market.
For the Malaysian version, pretty much the only thing that has changed is its built-in user interface powered by HarmonyOS, which is now available in English as well as other languages. To recap, the newly launched smartwatch sports a 1.64-inch 456 x 280 pixel AMOLED display which is housed in an aluminum casing. As for the latter, the Huawei Watch D is the first of its kind to come equipped with this feature, which is powered by the company’s own TruBP technology.
