Huawei will strengthen the coordinated innovation of cloud, channel and device technologies, and over the next two to three years, build a high-quality cloud ecosystem, Founder and CEO Ren Zhengfei said on Thursday in a written statement released Thursday. on the internal social network of Huawei Xinsheng Community.
Ren said electronic devices, including billions of smartphones and smartwatches, water meters, electricity meters and smart display devices, currently have a large area of coverage, which is pushing Huawei to improve the quality of its cloud network.
“Providing top notch network service to our customers can help us stay ahead of the global competition,” said Ren.
Huawei GTS is the Global Technical Service, a department responsible for the development, maintenance, delivery and optimization of its global network of gears and associated software. By coordinating with the cloud, GTS is able to create mobile networks in different regions and increase performance and user experience, and form a positive business cycle, Ren said.
Ren believes that the home mobile network will be a huge market due to the increasing availability of equipment and the demands for quality services. Ren said Huawei could follow the examples of creating exclusive shops for terminal distribution and maintenance service provision, which will also encourage local residents to freely join and compete with other companies.
Ren also noted that Huawei would sum up the company’s understanding of the performance and service of networks into assets to provide to its customers. Huawei will also apply the cloud strategy to other areas, such as mining.
“Much like Microsoft’s management and maintenance service on large-scale aircraft engines, Huawei will develop a leading cloud service module in mining,” said Ren.
