The Huawei P70 series was thought to ditch the distinctive camera bump of its P60 predecessors for a less inspired traffic light or even a Nova 12-style rear panel island. However, unfortunately for fans of these premium mid-range products range, legendary leaker Digital Chat Station now claims that these alleged plans have been canceled and that the OEM is taking another route for its next-generation XMAGE flagships.
According to the new “line drawing“, the same basic conformation of the P60 series lens cutouts returned for a second generation. Again, while the resulting camera bump was ostensibly arranged to resemble an SLR camera body digital on the side (especially in the case of the P60 Pro Art), the resulting look must be disrupted in the P70 series due to the fact that each of the 3 main circles appears to be larger and closer together.
Additionally, the main camera island they might be in would have expanded to extend much further out onto the rear panel, similar to the iQOO 12 series before it. Additionally, while it might be easy to imagine that the P70 series’ 1-inch sensor might sit behind the larger lens cutout, it’s harder to project where its equally legendary periscope zoom module would go. .

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduating. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they allowed me to gain some experience in the field of biotechnology, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, our environment and our lives in general. This has developed over time into a consuming interest in more and more aspects of technology: I can never write enough about the latest electronic devices, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy and streaming. Oh, and coffee.
