Huawei P30 Pro is one of the best flagships in the market, the phone not only comes with a great design but it also comes with an amazing quad camera system. The camera has its own specialty as it could take you further than ever with its world’s first periscope zoom.
However, a user recently contacted us via Twitter and shared a major bug in the Huawei P30 Pro camera. According to the user, a bug in the Huawei P30 Pro camera continues to cause the frame to lose focus when using the camera app.
Also, the viewport is blurry because no focused area is selected on the view. Meanwhile, the user noted that the camera performs well on ultra wide angle and macro modes.
However, loss of focus is not the only bug as the camera app on Huawei P30 Pro also crashes randomly with “cannot connect to camera” message or freezes completely. It’s a pretty frustrating bug but there’s more.
Following these events, the user contacted customer service, who confirmed that it might be a software issue and the user might have to wait for the next deployment.
After upgrading to EMUI 12?
There is more to know, the user reported that the latest camera issues on his Huawei P30 Pro appeared right after upgrading to EMUI 12. However, the phone was working fine on EMUI 11. Yet , upgrading from EMUI 12 to EMUI 11 will no longer solve this problem at all.
In addition, the user has already cleared the cache of the camera application but the problem still persists on his P30 Pro.
The solution?
Yes, this appears to be a software bug and we have to wait for the issue to be resolved on Huawei’s side. Are you facing such camera issues on your Huawei P30 Pro after EMUI 12 upgrade? Let us know in the comment below.
