Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 is set to debut at the company’s next event in fall 2023. The tablet will launch on September 25. The company confirmed the release of the device on Chinese social media platform Weibo with a teaser poster. He also showed a preview of the design and suggested some key specifications of the device. Huawei’s tablet has also been confirmed to support NearLink StarLight connectivity. The official poster suggests that the MatePad Pro 13.2 will have a narrow bezel around the display.
Huawei has shared a teaser poster of the upcoming Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2, which claims to have the largest screen among the company’s tablets. Huawei has confirmed that the tablet will debut on September 25 during the company’s fall 2023 flagship launch event. In the teaser poster, the device sports narrow bezels around the display with curved edges at all corners. It has also been confirmed to come with a stylus and support for NearLink StarLight connectivity.
The NearLink StarLight logo is visible on the poster. It is a short-range wireless technology combining both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
In addition to this, a report from Gizmochina suggests that the upcoming MatePad Pro 13.2 could offer wireless charging support. It will also reportedly come with a dual rear camera setup including an ultra-wide lens. The report also adds that the tablet could feature 3D facial recognition, facial payment, and air gesture support. Other leaked details include a Kirin 9000s chipset on the device.
Earlier this year in March, Huawei launched the MatePad 11 (2023) in China along with the Huawei Mate X3 and Huawei Ultimate Watch. It sports an 11-inch LCD display (2,560 x 1,600 pixels), with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. It runs on HarmonyOS 3.1 out of the box.
