Teardown by “Bogota Review” reveals that the Huawei Mate 50 Pro’s components are pretty much the same as the Mate 40 Pro’s. On the top there is the camera and the SoC module. At the bottom, this device has a battery and a wireless charging coil. In addition, at the bottom there is also the input and output module.
The Huawei Mate 50 Pro motherboard uses a dual-layer design. AAll components and chips are covered with metal covers. The processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is also under these metal covers.
Huawei Mate 50 Pro has 5G RF chip space
With further teardown, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro has a place reserved for the 5G RF chip on the PCB. Interestingly, the filter capacitor resistors near the RF chip have not been removed.
