Since the first month of 2023, Huawei has been offering a variety of smartwatches that have already launched to consumers, but it looks like there is a unique new line of smartwatches that may debut soon.
According to the entries, Huawei has listed a new line of mysterious smartwatches on the Huawei Health app with the model – AOD-H1. First, we thought it was the next Huawei Watch GT 4 or Watch 4 Series, but no confirmation was found on the Huawei Health app.
Then a foundation revealed that it might not be one of those, instead Huawei might be planning a whole new line of smartwatches with brand new features.
How?
B19 is the consistent code name for all Huawei smartwatches, for example:
- SGA-B19 for BUDS
- AND-B19 for Cyber
- MIL-B19 for GT 3
- RUN-B19 for GT Runner
And that doesn’t include the consumer range.
Former Huawei subsidiary Honor has always used B39 and B19 Example: MUS-B19 corresponds to GS3, and HBE-B39 corresponds to MagicWatch.
DO:
So, AOD-H1 could be a dedicated Always on Display (AOD) smartwatch range? Probably, because the industry already has such smart wearables that support this display-oriented technology. However, there is room for long battery life and new display technologies that could catch the eye of consumers, such as high resolution.
Or it could be a premium outdoor smartwatch ready for a certain type of user. On the other hand, it may be a smart new group. Yes, maybe but not sure.

Past launches:
Over the past year, Huawei has experimented a lot in the world of smartwatches such as Watch GT Cyber, which brings detachable dial functionality. The Huawei Watch Buds allow you to store two wireless headphones inside the watch face and you can open it like an earphone case to house these headphones.
Watch GT Runner is a prime example of satisfying a specific type of consumer filled with plenty of tracking exercises.
As of now, there is no official announcement available regarding the AOD-H1, but we will keep you updated.
