Thanksgiving football is here, and that means almost everyone and their brother in the United States will want to watch the games. Here’s how you can watch the three Thanksgiving Day soccer games today at 12:30 p.m. ET, 4:30 p.m. ET, and 8:20 p.m. ET tonight on Android devices, Google TV, and Chromecast.
Bear vs. Lions
There are a few apps that you will want to watch for watching the games. First there is the NFL Mobile app, which is most likely to have coverage of these games going. One caveat is that you will probably need an existing TV subscription such as DISH, Spectrum, or any major TV provider. Additionally, if you have an NFL app subscription, you can replay games after the original broadcast. With a YouTube TV subscription, you will also be able to watch the game Bears vs. Lions.
Another place you’ll want to check out is the Fox sports application. The Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions Thanksgiving football game will air on Fox today, so check out the app and you will be able to watch the game on any device where you can get the Fox Sports app, including a TV. Android.
Raiders vs. Cowboys
Game 2 will air on CBS and feature the Las Vegas Raiders vs. the Dallas Cowboys. There are a few apps that will stream the game directly to your Android device. These applications would be the Yahoo Sports application, Paramount +, and the NFL Mobile application as mentioned. Unfortunately, Yahoo Sports and NFL Mobile appear to be mobile only (as the name suggests). This means that they will not work with your Android TV. These games are also available on YouTube TV via a subscription. On the other hand, Paramount + is a great app to use for watching the Thanksgiving game at 4:30 p.m. ET on an Android device.
Paramount + seems to be the best option because it allows the most flexibility. Whether you want to head to Paramount + on Google Chrome or download the Android TV app, as long as it streams locally on CBS, it will be available in the Live TV section of the app.
Saints Against Buffalo Bills
The final Thanksgiving game is between the New Orleans Saints and the Buffalo Bills at 8:30 p.m. ET. This game will be broadcast via NBC on the network, which lends itself to NBC’s Android apps. Peacock TV is going to be the app of choice for this game. Available on most devices, Peacock TV will be your best bet to catch this heavyweight game.
Peacock TV accessible via its website or Peacock TV app on Android devices such as an Android TV. Peacock has a lot to offer, including live sports. The main caveat is that it requires a monthly subscription of $ 5.
It is also worth noting that these games are very easily accessible via YouTube TV. Unfortunately, that means buying a monthly subscription for around $ 65 per month. While the price is high, YouTube TV offers unlimited recordings and all prime-time football matches as well as locally broadcast matches.
Overall, there’s a good chance of seeing all three games on Thanksgiving Day, making for an action-packed Thursday afternoon. Whichever way you choose to enjoy games, have fun and enjoy streaming on Android!
