What there is to know
The Indianapolis Colts are 0-4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers since November 2016, but they’ll have a chance to close the gap a bit on Monday. Indianapolis has the luxury of staying home one more week and will host Pittsburgh at 8:15 p.m. ET on Nov. 28 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Both teams suffered a loss in their last game, so they will have plenty of motivation to get the “W”.
The Colts had victory within reach, but couldn’t get it last Sunday as the team lost 17-16 to the Philadelphia Eagles. Indianapolis’ lone offensive touchdown came from RB Jonathan Taylor.
Most of the team’s points came from the special teams, which contributed ten. K Chase McLaughlin delivered a perfect 3-on-3 match.
Meanwhile, Pittsburgh was hampered by 84 penalty yards against the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday. Pittsburgh fell to Cincinnati 37-30. Pittsburgh’s loss came despite quality play from RB Najee Harris, who had two rushing touchdowns.
This next game should be close, with the Colts only a 2.5-point favorite. But bettor beware: they are only 1-4 ATS when favored.
The losses put Indianapolis at 4-6-1 and Pittsburgh at 3-7. Some offensive stats to watch: Indianapolis is fourth worst in the NFL in offensive touchdowns, with just 16 this season. Pittsburgh has had its own struggles as it stumbles into the competition with the second-fewest passing touchdowns in the league, having racked up just seven this season. It’s possible that one of those Achilles heels will end up tripping up the losing team.
